[macOS High Sierra] install PostgreSQL 10.4 포스트그레SQL 10.4 설치 (Postgre.app, PostGIS)

PostgreSQL 공식사이트에서 제공하는 설치파일 이외에도 전용 App이 있습니다

심지어 다운받아서 응용프로그램으로 이동만 시키면 되어 귀찮은 설치절차도 없고

버전또한 10.4로 매우 편하게 사용할 수 있습니다 (설치만..)

GIS를 사용하려면 추가 설치가 필요할뿐

pgAdmin4 말고 다른 접속툴도 소개해주네요

프로그래밍관련 접속 샘플도 제공해주고

 

다운받은 dmg 패키지를 실행해줍니다

 

Postgres.app을 응용프로그램(Applications)로 드래그 해주면

 

복사를 시작합니다

 

런처패드에도 App이 생기고 실행해주면

 

검사를 진행

 

열기를 클릭

 

Server Settings를 클릭해주면 관련 설정을 볼수 있습니다

관련 파일 전부 App에 포함되네요 삭제도 간단할듯

 

Initialize를 클릭하면 관련파일이 생기며 Start상태로 변경됩니다

그리고 DB로 보이는 아이콘이 3개가 생기네요

그중 하나를 더블클릭하면

 

터미널이 실행되고 psql 화면이 보입니다

근데 커맨드를 잘모르면 무쓸모...

 

설치버전과의 큰 차이점은

상태바에 전용아이콘이 생기고 Start/Stop을 UI에서 할 수 있네요

 

코끼리 아이콘 눌러보면 바로 중지도 가능

 

App은 2.1.4 버전이 최신인가 보네요

하지만 이상태로는 GIS DB로 사용할 수 없습니다

공식 홈페이지에서 OSX 부분을 잘 보면... postgre.app을 설치하고

home brew를 이용해서 postGIS를 설치하라고...
